We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join our Adult Social Care team in Beeston, Nottingham. Key Responsibilities
1. Complete moving and handling assessments within the community, ensuring safe and effective practices.
2. Work within the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) process, coordinating necessary home adaptations.
3. Conduct comprehensive assessments to support individuals in maintaining independence and improving their quality of life.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, carers, and service users to develop personalised care plans.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and professionals to ensure a person-centred approach.
6. Exhibit flexibility in work approaches, actively contributing to team initiatives and service improvements.
Minimum Requirements
1. HCPC registration (Health & Care Professions Council) is mandatory.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist within Adult Social Care.
3. Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and best practices in Occupational Therapy.
4. Excellent communication and assessment skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
5. Driving license preferred, as the role involves working across multiple sites.
