Business Development Manager – Automotive Apprenticeships
We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to join our client. Candidates should have automotive industry experience and a background in selling apprenticeships to levy clients.
Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 + £350/month car allowance
Hours: 37.5/week, Mon-Fri
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (increases with service)
Bonus: Performance-based (discussed at interview)
About the Role
This field-based role requires a driven sales professional with a strong track record in business development and apprenticeships. You’ll be responsible for securing new employer accounts, building relationships with key decision-makers in automotive and logistics, and promoting the company's training services.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and convert leads through field sales, cold calling, and networking
* Develop and manage strong employer relationships
* Identify training needs and present tailored solutions
* Work with bid teams to secure large contracts
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of target clients and industry trends
* Promote their funded and commercial training programs
Qualifications & Experience
✔ 3+ years in Business Development, achieving and exceeding targets
✔ 1+ year in apprenticeship training sales
✔ Proven track record in winning and managing large client accounts
✔ Strong knowledge of the automotive sector
✔ Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
✔ Full UK driving licence
