A Day in the Life This is an exciting opportunity to join the Coronary and Renal Denervation (CRDN) team. Our products and therapies are used in the treatment of patients with Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension. The CRDN team are responsible for establishing Medtronic as ‘The Company’ to partner with to help Physicians reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease through leveraging our combined portfolio. To aid this vision there is a constant focus on developing innovative solutions and a significant investment in R&D across the combined businesses with both businesses having a strong pipeline of products and solutions coming to market over the coming years. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Product Specialist to join our CRDN Business Unit. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth and market share gain for our Drug-coated balloon (DCB) and Plain old balloon angioplasty (POBA) portfolio, you will be also in charge of coordinating and managing the operations for European projects as well as developing the marketing communication strategies in CRDN business unit, and you will demonstrate a strong focus on strategic thinking, customer engagement, and digital marketing. You will be based remotely, but some travels across Europe will be expected (up to 20%) Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Formulate and review corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product or product line Build, coach and help execute the DCB & POBA Marketing strategies and campaigns across Western Europe region. Liaise between global team and the countries and coach the country Marketers to execute the quarterly Marketing priorities and tracking the progress Serve as technical adviser, demonstrate products and troubleshoot product issues. Be the expert and reference for DCB & POBA in Western Europe. Support the Marketing and Sales team with all technical and clinical Specialists and data needed for tenders and to win deals. Provide them with tools needed to counterattack competitive messages in the markets and support in training Conduct competitive Product analysis and Market research, support planning and drive the initiatives that will increase the CRDN Product usage in the region and in the countries Coordinate and manage the operations for some marketing projects led by European Marketing team (MDT events, congresses, etc.) Support the European Marketing team with communication strategies and planning Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, MBA or advanced degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management and Marketing within the medical device or healthcare industry, Proven track record of successful product launches and market penetration strategies Fluent in English (both verbal and written) Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles with a strong emphasis on relationship building and stakeholder engagement Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to derive actionable insights from data Excellent verbal and written communication skills, European product launch experience, country project and/or program management experience, and a second European language will be a plus.
