Are you a maintenance engineer looking to work on a permanent basis Monday to Friday for one of the biggest manufacturing businesses in the region who supply to a range of industries nationally? If so, we are looking to appoint a permanent maintenance engineer to work a night shift who can take their hand to a range of mechanical and electrical faults whilst adhering to a PPM schedule.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out detailed analysis of all faults to determine root causes, preventative and corrective actions, and methodically eliminate faults using modern problem-solving techniques.
* Strive for and implement development and improvement work to give increased OEE.
* Assist in developing a robust and effective preventative maintenance program.
* Provide maintenance breakdown cover across all manufacturing shifts when required.
* Adhere to the principles of 5S in their own area of work, wherever that may be in the factory.
* Work in a professional and respectful manner.
* Uphold Health and Safety standards.
* Ensure all machines and facilities in the factory are working efficiently and safely.
* Effectively maintain machines, site services, and utilities in a timely manner.
* Read and interpret schematics or engineering drawings.
* Maintain a sound working knowledge of the mechanical and electrical functions of all machines and facilities by continually learning and implementing best practices.

Minimum Requirements:
* HNC/HND or full apprenticeship required.
* Experience working in manufacturing.
* Experience with multi-bagging systems and check-weighers would be beneficial.
* Knowledge of TPM, PPM, reactive breakdowns, and some project work/installations.
