Job Title: Account Manager Hybrid with 3 days office and 2 from home
Salary: £28k- £32k with Uncapped Commission
Department: Sales
Direct Report to: Head of Sales
Scope of Role: Account management / New business / Field 9 (Some client visits so must drive and have a car).
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and nurture new business opportunities through e-mails, cold calling, and networking.
2. Nurture existing clients, develop relationships, and provide excellent customer service.
3. Ensure client satisfaction and develop good working relationships with the team.
4. Develop open and effective channels of communication with each client.
5. Communicate professionally, courteously, and effectively with clients by telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face.
6. Provide every client with excellent service from start to finish.
7. Understand the needs of clients and respond effectively with solutions.
8. Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets and growth areas.
9. Hold regular client review meetings to ensure client satisfaction and excellent service delivery.
10. Provide regular performance reports and analyze results by monitoring KPIs.
11. Investigate and resolve any client issues.
12. Attend existing client meetings to deliver presentations and discuss performance.
13. Encourage revenue growth by keeping clients informed about services.
14. Improve client service procedures, policies, and standards.
15. Arrange and book client meetings, including travel arrangements.
16. Attend seminars, conferences, and events as appropriate.
17. Ensure the CRM and case management software is kept up to date.
18. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the credit industry.
19. Control and manage workload effectively and efficiently.
20. Establish and manage a sales pipeline.
21. Remain flexible and committed in a fast-paced environment.
22. Play a key role in driving continuous improvements within the team and company.
23. Adhere to the rules and policies set by the company and its regulators.
24. Perform any ad-hoc duties as instructed by management.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Good level of general education to GCSE's or GNVQ/NVQ qualification or equivalent.
* Strong customer service and sales background.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen.
* Experience within the debt recovery industry is an advantage.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
* Awareness of confidentiality, information security, and data protection.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
