Overview Carter Rolan Group are recruiting for a permanent Head of Supply Chain & Logistics (CIPS / CILT / APICS / ISM or similar) for a reputable manufacturing business based in South Wales (Bridgend). This role is paying a negotiable salary of circa £60,000 - £80,000 (will consider dependant on experience and background). This is a Monday to Friday role on site. Your new Head of Supply Chain & Logistics role As part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the end to end Supply Chain and Logistics functions of the business to effectively deliver against the business KPIs and strategy, thus ensuring long term sustainability and supporting growth by providing strong commercial execution of the companys strategic plan from a supply chain perspective. To build and maintain effective long term relationships to ensure ongoing success of the business and at all times operating withing regulatory and legal requirements. Responsible for the direct management of the Supply Chain Team, The Raw Materials Warehouse Team and the Logistics & Transport Teams, you will provide guidance and leadership to ensure effective operations and service are maintained. Working closely with the Head of Operations you will look to ensure effective communication and working relationships are established and maintained to support Production to deliver against key business requirements. What you will need to succeed in this Head of Supply Chain & Logistics role Significant experience within a manufacturing procurement and supply chain role Broad, end to end supply chain experience across both Procurement and Logistics Proven track record of leading change and delivering process improvements across all supply chain/operational functions Knowledge and implementation of risk management strategies and processes Demonstrable experience of excellent senior client relationships and ability to build effective relationships Experience of managing teams within a faced paced and complex environment Proven ability in articulating data and forecasts to stakeholders with commercial acumen Excellent negotiation skills Strong financial acumen, analytical with strong IT capabilities Extensive understanding of modern supply chain IT systems Highly commercially astute and customer centric CIPS Qualified / ISM Qualified / APICS Qualified (highly desirable) Ability to see wider strategic goals and align contractual agreements and actions to support department and organisational strategy Please apply ASAP to avoid missing out - interviews are being held early next week
