Assistant Store Manager – Halifax

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team and manage the day-to-day running of our store.
As an Assistant Store Manager, they are looking for a well-rounded and commercial retail manager who is proactive in their approach and can work using their own initiative. Fashion experience is desirable; however, it is not essential as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in management or supervision of personnel within a retail outlet.
Responsibilities:
1. Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the store while ensuring costs are contained within targets.
2. Maximize store profitability by promoting sales within the store.
3. Ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered at all times.
4. Manage, coach, and motivate the team to deliver on all targets and lead by example.
5. Deputize for the manager when necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Excellent leadership credentials.
2. An ability to drive sales through your team.
3. Good training and development capabilities.
4. Desire to progress within our ever-growing business.
