We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Training and Development Coordinator to provide comprehensive development and training services to our Energy business unit. This role involves coordinating local training activities, supporting the progress of various training programs, and contributing to the overall development and training solutions within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and deliver local training activities
* Support graduate, trainee, apprentice, and professional programs
* Analyse corporate and individual training needs
* Manage CITB grant claims and compile training plans
* Identify skills gaps and update training databases
* Manage training budgets and monitor grant recovery
* Organize and log PFADR and job chat activities
* Maintain training plans and book training courses
* Manage employee development for further qualifications
* Produce reports and data for business unit and central Learning and Development
Qualifications and Skills:
* Good standard of education (GCSE level or equivalent, NVQ level 2)
* Previous training coordination experience is desirable
* Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and database management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair and refurbishment services.
