Pitch is delighted to be partnering with this innovative construction business that provides products and solutions for the built environment. Heavily focused on the green environment and sustainability, they are looking for an Assistant Area Sales Manager to work across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Working closely with the Senior Area Manager, you’ll assist in the generation of specification and project opportunities with existing and new clients. You will work with the technical team and your line manager to assist and sometimes lead on surveying projects and writing reports and specifications.
Responsible for your own diary, you’ll be on the road 5 days a week, travelling to meet customers, making appointments, and delivering presentations.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
1. Previous experience in a sales role, ideally B2B.
2. An interest in construction and the built environment.
3. Exceptional communication skills.
4. Some previous experience of cold calling.
5. The ability to absorb and interpret technical information.
6. A strong commercial acumen and motivation to work towards targets.
7. A full driving license and your own car.
If you have any experience within the flat roofing industry, this would be hugely advantageous. Along with the salary, car allowance, and fuel card, you’ll also be able to earn small incremental bonuses based on turnover within your area.
