About the Role:
As a Buyer, you will play a key role in sourcing and managing suppliers to ensure the efficient supply of materials required for manufacturing. You will be responsible for maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for raw materials and components.
2. Monitor inventory levels to maintain an optimal supply chain.
3. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality service and delivery.
4. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
5. Collaborate closely with internal departments, including production and quality, to align on procurement needs.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a buying or procurement role, ideally in manufacturing.
2. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
3. Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
4. Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
