Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Location: Wokingham Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent About the Role: We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our dynamic maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery. • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems including control panels, sensors, motors, and drives. • Support PLC fault-finding and control system troubleshooting. • Ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard to reduce downtime and increase efficiency. • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve reliability and performance. • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and ensure compliance with H&S regulations. Essential Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role. • Strong electrical bias or demonstrable experience with PLC and control systems. • Must hold a valid 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification. • Good mechanical understanding and hands-on approach to engineering tasks. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Desirable: • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment. • Familiarity with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar PLC systems. • Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering.
