We're looking for a Civils 360 Excavator to join our UK Power Network ED2 Alliance based at sites across the Eastern Power Network (EPN).
Location: EPN sites based between Cambridge and Suffolk - due to the travel involved with this role candidates will be required to have a full driving license
Hours: 45 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Civils 360 Excavator, you'll be responsible for the operation of a 360-degree excavator, used for digging, lifting, and transporting materials on construction sites.
Your day to day will include:
* Responsible for the safe delivery of significant and potentially complex works to quality standards and programme.
* Monitor Health and Safety standards in your work area in accordance with SHEMS, taking action to improve performance and correct poor practice and behaviours.
* Understand RAMS for all activity on site. Ensure they are implemented and amended when required.
* Regularly inspect the excavator for wear and tear, perform minor maintenance tasks, and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
* Trenching & Duct Laying, perform precise digging for utilities and drainage systems, including trenching for cables, pipes, or other underground installations.

* Proven experience in a civil works and knowledge of industry standards and methodologies
* CSCS/EUSR
* NWSRA Operator
* SHEA Power
* Emergency First Aid
* Above and below 10-ton Excavator Certificate (Lifting Ops favourable)
