About the role:
1. Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of students.
2. Focus on academic, social, and emotional development.
3. Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored intervention plans.
4. Monitor student progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
6. Help students build confidence and overcome challenges.
7. Support classroom activities and assist in creating engaging resources.
The ideal candidate must:
1. Have previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
2. Possess an enhanced DBS or be willing to purchase one.
3. Exhibit patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
4. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Adapt and tailor support to meet individual learning needs.
6. Be a team player with a collaborative approach to working with teachers and staff.
7. Be passionate about helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
