Job summary We are a friendly rural practice in South Shropshire looking to recruit a Practice Nurse to join our team to cover maternity leave. There is possibility of extending the contract for the right candidate. Duties will include the usual range of Practice Nurse tasks such cervical screening, chronic disease monitoring and wound management. A willingness to learn new skills and to work as part of a friendly, effective team is essential to this post. About us We are a rural practice in the beautiful Shropshire Hills just on Powys border with a practice list size of approximately 5600. We currently have 2 GP Partners & 3 Associate GPs. The GPs are supported by a very experienced clinical team consisting of ANPs, practice nurses, paramedic and a HCA. We also have an FCP, Social Prescriber, Psychotherapist and a Practice Pharmacist.
