Job summary We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Team We are looking for a hardworking qualified nurse to work as part of a specialist and devoted team within Endoscopy and are passionate about giving patients the best possible care. The Endoscopy department within Southmead Hospital is a fast paced and varied environment, full of passionate and highly skilled nurses. The department has achieved JAG accreditation and runs a busy service from 4 dedicated procedure rooms. We undertake over 11,000 endoscopies each year and have an expanding service which includes growth in exciting areas of capsule endoscopy, enteroscopy, bowel screening, GI endoscopy, respiratory, trans-nasal endoscopy and GI Pre-assessment clinics. Main duties of the job The post holder will: Work as a member of the Endoscopy Team and is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care Work in the Endoscopy environment caring for patients undergoing all types of Endoscopy procedures both routine and emergency for inpatients and outpatients.
