Job Title: Reparation and Restorative Justice Worker
Location: Havering
Term: 3 months (with opportunity for extension)
Rate: 18.30 PAYE/Umbrella 22-25 dependant on experience

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver practical reparative activities and supervise direct reparation with young people.
2. Collaborate with youth to monitor behaviour while adhering to national and local guidelines.
3. Facilitate restorative justice processes and support victims in their journey towards healing.
4. Conduct victim awareness interventions and gather personal views from crime victims.
5. Attend community panels and appointments, promoting victim involvement and advocacy.
6. Maintain accurate records of all interventions on the Youth Offending Service database.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience working with children and young people in challenging circumstances.
2. Background in restorative justice work or mediation within a criminal justice setting.
3. Proven ability to deliver engaging group work programmes.
4. Familiarity with youth justice legislation and court processes.
5. Strong understanding of risk assessment protocols.
6. A flexible approach, with availability to work evenings and weekends.
