Our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Solutions team are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to support our joint venture with Caledonia Water Alliance – alongside Morrison Water Services – to deliver Scottish Water’s SR21 Water & Wastewater infrastructure programme. In this position, you will play a key role in the Improving Urban Waters programme for Scottish Water, as well as delivering flooding and capital maintenance projects through our SR21 wastewater infrastructure framework across Scotland. Projects will include CSO’s, storm storage tanks, rising mains, SUDs, sewer rehab/replacement and pipebridges. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to lead a talented, diverse team committed to innovation and efficiency. Here’s what you’ll do: Deliver: Provide technical expertise and support for all aspects of civil projects, from design to implementation. Prepare and check design approaches, calculations, drawings, and technical reports while adhering to SW Specification & Standards and following CDM Health & Safety procedures. Quality: Comply with CWA Quality Assurance procedures, Scottish Water industry specifications; and keep up-to-date with industry best practices, and identify innovation/best practices for consideration when appropriate. Collaboration: Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information, and work alongside our multi-disciplinary team of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Geotechnical and Environmental engineers. Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers while liaising with the construction delivery team to provide solutions to challenges that arise during the construction process.
