g machinery. Due to company growth within the UK, there is now an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Installation Supervisor to join their rapidly expanding team.
Role:
Ensuring day-to-day goals of installation projects are implemented to meet scheduled deadlines, work quality, set budgets and high-level customer satisfaction.
This role requires the ability to work on multiple projects at one time with excellent attention to detail. Overnight stays will be required when visiting customer sites to carry out site surveys and installation projects.
Installation Supervisor - Responsibilities
* Provide on-site management of installations to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within agreed budgets.
* Ensure relevant paperwork against industry standards are met.
* Document installation processes and report on project progress.
* Provide full costings of installation costings against pre- approvals to ensure viability and profitability in line with company target for each project.
* Visit customer sites to finalise pre installation requirements (e.g., transport, labour, lifting utilities, access, safety induction, clarification of customer responsibilities)
* Oversee site electrical, mechanical installation work (including quality checks on work carried out).
* Prioritise and organise urgent project installations when required.
Installation Supervisor - Experience & Knowledge Required
* Experience working in the waste, environmental or other sectors with similar requirements and large capital equipment.
* Good technical knowledge of process/bulk handling systems
* Experience negotiating with suppliers for materials and ability to negotiate best pricing with subcontractors by measuring costs against performance.
* Ability to manipulate drawings using AutoCAD and solid works
* Previous experience of Microsoft packages such as project, excel, word and ERP/CRM systems.
* Previous experience in preparing and reviewing detailed documents (e.g., costing sheets, quotes, installation plans)
* Ability to prioritise workload and deal with conflicting priorities
* Mechanical and electrical qualifications required.
* Ability to interpret schematics, manuals, drawings, and other specification documents.
* Full UK driving licence

* Hours – 40 hrs per week (08.00-17.00 Mon to Thurs and 08.00 – 15.30 Fri)
