An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home service based in Bishopsworth, Bristol area.
You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers. This care home provides nursing care for residents living with complex medical needs, also offering respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence to make a positive difference to their lives.
* Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct, and care plans are adhered to.
* Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, staff welfare and training, and develop an excellent reputation.
* Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the residents' quality of life.
* Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including the production of reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring.
* Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home, alerting the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety.
* Ensure that the team attends training days and courses to maintain learning records and support individual development.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place for the smooth, efficient running of the home.
* Experience in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audits and care services.
* Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £23.61 per hour, with an annual salary of £49,108.80 per annum.
