Key role inintegrating a complex warship upgrade, delivering commandconfidence in the Power & Propulsion systems of NavyVessels Ensuring engineeringintegrity is maintained through the embodiment of a complexmodification to thevessels Providingon-site support to oversee delivery across multiple ships acrossclass Ensuring change is managedefficiently in configuration and engineering best practice iscarried through to subsequent embodimentperiods Surveying, managing andresolving design and integration issues that arise throughembodiment and commissioning /regeneration
Yourskills and experiences:
An in-depth knowledge insome technical areas with mechanical bias, and sufficient breadthof technical knowledge/experience to make sound engineeringdecisions in all technical areas, seeking support from specialistengineers wherenecessary A broad understanding of thedesign, integration, operation and maintenance of ships equipmentincluding propulsion, diesel generators, propellers, shafts,bearings, intakes/exhausts, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, luboil systems, compressed air systems, cooling systems, firefightingsystems, domestic HVAC and chilled watersystems A good understanding ofsafety within the ship environment, including being able to providedemonstrable experience of taking responsibility for hazardidentification and management and safety decisions using soundsafety managementprocesses/tools

Degree level qualification,or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplinepreferably with experience in the marine/naval industry and workingtowards IEng status
