Job Purpose: As Golf Sales Manager at Schloss Roxburghe will work closely with the hotel management team and our partner IMG to play a key role in driving revenue and enhancing the resort’s reputation as a premier golf destination. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to golf sales and business development, ensuring strong golf occupancy levels and increased revenue across memberships, visitor play, corporate golf and golf driven hotel occupancy.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Golf Tour Operators, corporate clients, and key industry stakeholders, developing tailored sales strategies to attract golfers and drive bookings. Collaborating closely with the Golf Operations team and hotel colleagues, you will ensure seamless guest experiences and optimize availability. Additionally, you will oversee the creation and execution of promotional campaigns, leveraging a variety of channels to directly target golfers and enhance engagement.

Your Key Responsibilities and Result Areas:
* Increase bookings to the venue from Golf Tour Operators
* Help to increase size of membership at the golf club
* Develop corporate/society golf strategy and sell into key contacts in the region
* Created preferred partnerships with businesses and potential event sponsors
* Attending various industry trade fairs to build existing partnerships with Golf Tour Operators and source new business
* Utilise the IMG Prestige network to develop business opportunities
* Develop attractive stay and play packages with the hotel team
* Design strategic promotions throughout the season to maximise all revenue opportunities
* Work with wider golf team to develop wider strategy for the promotion of the TopTracer driving range.
* Provide regular sales report and updates to Head of Golf/Hotel Sales team
* Drive relationships and business by attending IMG partner golf clubs and Trade Shows
Key Targets:
* An increase in revenue from green fees and hotel guests
* An increase in overall membership revenue
* An increase in revenue from external events and corporate businesses
* Better relationships with global tour operators
Your Knowledge & Capabilities:
* A good knowledge of golf and golf travel
* Experience working within the golf or hospitality industries
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Understanding of golf and hotel terminology
* Knowledge of key golf and hotel booking periods
* Ability to work with senior management, and to represent SCHLOSS Roxburghe well with key external contacts
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven Experience/Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in golf sales
* Experience of directly driving sales
* Experience of creating promotions
* Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
