Alexander Steele is recruiting an Inbound Planning Manager for a unique FMCG business based in Wiltshire. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, stock management, and control processes within the business. You will supervise a team of 10 people and will oversee all aspects of inbound inventory coming into the business.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the coordination and planning of all inbound deliveries for stock that is uplifted from other UK warehouses, imported goods arranged by our customers for EU & non-EU deliveries with the agreed hauliers.
* Prioritising private and high value deliveries to ensure the risk is managed effectively and in line with the business values and standards.
* Develop and implement efficient stock management processes to ensure accurate tracking of all stored goods.
* Conduct regular inspections of stored goods to ensure compliance with temperature, humidity, and light control measures.
* Strong supply chain and logistics experience, particularly with dealing with EU imported goods.
* Strong planning and analytical skills with experience of reporting at management level.
* Excellent communicator, customer-focused with commercial awareness.
* Good Excel experience, ability to manipulate sets of data received in different formats.
