Based at the Headington Campus in Oxford, this post is in the School of Biological and Medical Sciences, which has a strong tradition of excellence in teaching, underpinned by world-class research and strong industry and NHS links.
We are looking for candidates with research expertise and a strong track in health-related human genetics and genomics who will contribute to teaching biomedical sciences with the ability to establish an independent research programme. Teaching experience in the UK Higher Education sector is highly desirable.
This is a full-time permanent post.
As Senior Lecturer, you will be responsible for:
Teaching biomedical sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Pursuing high quality research and knowledge transfer activities
Seeking external funding for research and knowledge transfer
Supervising higher degree students
Working with the Programme team on curriculum development and delivery
