About This Role We are looking for a team member to join our Birmingham Office. This is an office-based role with a rotating shift pattern, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Flexibility and reliability are essential. As an Anti-Piracy Operations Analyst at Friend MTS, you will be at the forefront of protecting content for some of the world’s leading broadcasters and streaming platforms. Your role will involve monitoring and maintaining our Global Monitoring Platform, investigating piracy threats, and ensuring prompt responses to customer requests. About You You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for content protection and digital security. With strong communication skills, you can effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders. You are adaptable, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are always eager to learn new technologies and operational processes. A problem solver at heart, you take initiative in identifying technical issues and ensuring efficient resolutions to support our mission in combating digital piracy. Key Responsibilities Acting as a first line of assistance for customers to ensure any technical issues that may arise with the Global Monitoring Platform and associated systems are dealt with expediently. Providing updates and responses to customer requests in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Using networking forensic tools to aid with the investigation and enforcement on a range of pirate applications and illicit streaming devices. Ensuring the Friend MTS Global Monitoring Platform is optimally configured to meet customer requirements and operational efficiencies. This includes keeping event scheduling information up to date and configuring projects accordingly, and in the absence of the sub-team leader ensuring the relevant checks are performed. Being aware of the services delivered to each customer and ensuring these are provided to a high standard from an operational perspective. Attending relevant internal calls and meetings to provide an operational viewpoint. Applying Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Social Media Intelligence (SOCINT) techniques to identify new sources of piracy to improve system and spider system performance. Writing and contributing to the maintenance of the comprehensive wiki space containing run books of operational procedures. Identifying potential system and operational improvements.
