A Commercial Operations Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the sales team in a fast-paced life science setting. The position is fully remote and involves the coordination of commercial activities and the provision of crucial support to customer service processes and the sales team.
Commercial Operations Specialist * Primary point of contact to facilitate collaboration between the Sales team and customers for product and logistical support. * Manages field stock, including reconciliation at the end of each month, quarter, and year. * Provides oversight of courier services and shipping logistics. * Manages in-bound order processing for designated regions. * Ensures consistent coverage for customer service inquiries via phone, email, and other channels. * Facilitates the setup of new customers, including customer master data, billing, and shipping information. * Oversees sales order entry, invoicing, and resolution of returns issues. * Monitors open usage to ensure timely receipt of purchase orders. * Ensures month-end and quarter-end orders are processed * Responds to inventory requests * Assists in resolving order discrepancies that affect revenue recognition. * Utilise reporting tools
