This is an exciting time to join our busy critical care team as a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse at Colchester Hospital. Our Critical Care Units form part of the East of England Critical Care Delivery Network and utilises a paperless clinical information system.

Full time and part time hours available
For this role you are required to have a completed, recognised specialist Critical Care Course qualification.
In this role, you will deliver excellent and individualised clinical care to our patients and their families, as well as taking on a leadership role within the nursing team. You will work within a Clinical Specialist team and contribute to activities and projects with the goal of professional and practice development.
You will be supported in this role by the Clinical Educators, the Senior Nursing team and with a specific competency programme and development opportunities for the Junior Sister/Charge Nurse role.
You must have an understanding of the current health agenda and national guidance which informs critical care practice.
In this role you will be expected to undertake internal rotation of shifts and will be predominantly based at the Colchester site with a requirement to work at the Ipswich Critical Care unit if required.
