Do you want flexible, well-paid work? Are you a great time keeper? Do you have an eye for details? Are you flexible and want an interesting job visiting all types of property in Brighton and surrounding areas? If the answer is YES, read on!
Brighton's leading award-winning property inventory supplier is looking to hire an experienced or trainee inventory clerk to support our busy year-round work schedule in the Brighton and surrounding areas.
Start from home. A typical day will start with collecting keys from a local agent or concierge on site and carrying out a report, then either returning keys to the concierge or meeting tenants. Days are varied with one job or four or five per day, including working just in the morning or afternoon or both.
Once you leave a property, producing the finished report will take seconds via our award-winning app. There will be no typing up notes or downloading photos at home, which takes other clerks and companies hours or days to do. Our software completes this task automatically while you get on with your day.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU:
A good rate of pay with flexible working hours part-time (20 hours to 40 hours a week). You will be trained on our award-winning software and will be able to produce reports classed in the top 5% of UK inventory clerks from day one of completing your training. Once fully trained, you will receive certificated qualifications via our trade association.
We will supply all equipment required to carry out the day-to-day duties of an inventory clerk, including an Apple iPad and a professional inventory clerk's tool kit.
We also have great promotion prospects and will be looking to promote a clerk to assistant manager later in the year, which could be you!
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE TO APPLY:
1. Live in or within 10 minutes travel of the Brighton area.
2. Own your own transport - car or motorbike is a must; you cannot do this job on public transport.
3. Valid driving licence for your chosen conveyance and the correct insurance if applicable.
4. Working home broadband 24/7 every day of the month.
5. Presentable in your appearance comparable to that of a lettings agent.
6. Able to work between 0800 hrs to 1800 hrs - Monday through Saturday. Friday & Saturday are the busiest times of the week, and also the end and start of the month.
7. Be able to work as per point six above without taking time off for the following months of July, August, and September each year, as this is the busiest time of the year for our industry.
8. Be competent to use an Apple iPad (preferred).
9. Be a great time keeper, arriving at least five minutes before appointments every time.
10. Physically fit, as you will be walking up and down stairs within flats and houses, and be standing for periods of time.
If you have read this far and wish to apply, start your cover letter with "Hello Paul". The reason we ask this is that we have hundreds of applicants who just apply at the click of a button without reading the job spec or confirming that they are eligible to apply. Also, add the first part of the postcode you live in so we can work travel times. "Hello Paul" will ensure your CV is fully reviewed by our HR team, while the rest will be deleted without being reviewed. Good luck!
