Job Description
* Oversee and manage financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
* Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations.
* Analyse financial data and create financial reports for decision-making purposes.
* Implement best practices in accounting and reporting.
* Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
* Support the accounting team in daily tasks and duties.
* Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
* Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA)
* Proficiency in accounting software and excellent knowledge of MS Office.
* Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
* Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* A competitive salary range of £25,000 - £40,000 DOE
* Hybrid working model with 2 days a week working from home.
