We are looking for a dynamic and skilled professional to become a vital part of our Facultative team in Norwich. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working one to two days a week in our London office.
As a Broker Support Lead / Account Manager for the US Property team, you will take on a pivotal role in guiding our Account Management team, ensuring exceptional support for our brokers and fostering strong client relationships. You will report directly to the Operations Director, contributing to our mission of delivering outstanding service and innovative solutions.
We will count on you to:
1. Lead the US Property Account Management team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence in our service delivery to clients, markets, and colleagues.
2. Collaborate closely with the Head of US Property and the Operations Director to achieve divisional targets.
3. Provide proactive support to brokers by coordinating placement activities, including:
Managing client requests for information (reinsurer details, financial reports, industry insights, etc.).Liaising with reinsurers to address queries or requests in partnership with brokers.
4. Overseeing the contract drafting process, including updates and the production of final documentation.
5. Coordinating with end-to-end service teams (invoicing, claims, and credit control) within Guy Carpenter UK and globally to ensure clients receive best-in-class service.
6. Drive the operational management of the US Property team to meet quality and efficiency goals.
7. Develop and deliver operational training for the US Property team.
8. Maintain and manage the financial pipeline, operational data, and reporting for US Property.
What you need to have:
9. Proven experience in a Senior Account Handler or Broker Support role.
10. Strong technical expertise and contract drafting skills.
11. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
12. Proficiency in computer applications, with a quick aptitude for learning new software.
13. A client-focused, quality-driven mindset.
14. Experience in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring junior team members.
