Responsibilities for the Contracts Manager: Project Management – Oversee multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Leadership & Team Building – Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficiency and quality. Financial Oversight – Work closely with commercial teams to control costs, manage cash flow, and maximise profitability. Client Relationships – Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and contribute to securing future work. Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations across all sites. Strategic Input – Collaborate with estimating and commercial teams to develop winning project strategies. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within a main contractor environment. Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills. Commercial awareness with experience in budgets, cost control, and contracts (JCT, NEC, D&B). Experience delivering commercial, healthcare, or education projects (new build & refurbishment). A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
