Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes within your designated section of the kitchen
Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard
Maintain high levels of food hygiene and adhere to safety regulations
Train, mentor, and guide junior kitchen staff, helping them develop their skills
Manage stock levels, ensuring efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to plan menus and create new dishes
Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory for your section
Ensure a smooth kitchen operation, especially during peak times
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment
Strong culinary skills and a passion for cooking
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
Excellent communication and team-working skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) are preferred
