What does this team do?Our Tax Consulting practice provides companies and high net worth individuals with tax advisory, compliance services and transaction advice. From advising clients on investment tax to working with their innovation and propertyfteams to ensure that the available tax reliefs are maximised, we help ourfclients make the right business decisions, on a worldwide scale.A role within our Tax Consulting practice, could mean the opportunity to work within one of the following teams:Digital Innovation Digital Tax Solutions: Wefdiscover, design and deliver market-leadingfinnovationfin the form of user-centric products,fservices andfexperiences. We create, enhance and managefcutting edge digital tax assets (both products and solutions), designedfandfdelivered in an agilefenvironment to transform ourfbusiness and drive revenuefgrowth.Global Investments & Innovation Incentives (Gi3): The UK government offers generous tax incentives to companies operating across all areas of science, engineering and tech, to encourage investment in research and development. The Gi3 team is part of a global network of tech, engineering, science and financial specialists who work closely with companies of varying size (from start-ups to large multinationals), helping them unlock these incentives for their innovations in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, manufacturing etc. This involves working closely with our clients to identify their eligible projects (and attributable expenditure), maximising the valuable incentives available.Our team comprises specialists from both tax\/financial and tech backgrounds, where engineers, scientists and IT\/software technologists play a pivotal role in supporting our clients in unlocking the incentives available to them. We partner with clients working on some of the most exciting and innovative projects across all areas of science and technology.What skills and academic qualifications do I need?Youneed to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 and have graduated by September 2025 for the Autumn 2025 intake.Digital Innovation Digital Tax Solutions:We require you to demonstrate an interest in, or a degree related to, developing products, Computer Science or Software Engineering.Related degree disciplines include:Computer games and animation.Information Systems.Computing.Engineering and technology.Cyber Security.Global Investment & Innovation Incentives Software Engineering:We require you to hold, or be working towards, a degree within a Computer Science, SoftwareDevelopment\/Software Engineering or related discipline.Related degree disciplines include:Data Science.Mathematics.Electrical Engineering.Cyber Security.Global Investment & Innovation Incentives Engineering:We require you to have achieved, or be working towards, a degree in an Engineeringor Science related degree discipline.What kind of work will I do?By joining a student programme within Tax Technology & Engineering, you will work with and learn from some of the most talented and experienced professionals in the industry.Youfhave the opportunity tofwork with a range of clients, from FTSE 100 organisations to start-ups and private individuals.Youhelp them solve some of the most complex issues their business isfever likely to face. Many of our established clients are high profile, household names. You willfplay a key role in a multi-disciplinary collaborativefteam, and will learn about the UK's latest tech developments.Depending on the area you join, you may be using your technical background to understand and support a clientdevelopment activities or form the basis for their R&D, patent box claims and grantfapplications.
