While this role is being offered as a part-time permanent employment contract, Big C welcomes expressions of interest from nutritionists who may be interested in undertaking this work under a self-employed service provision agreement.

About the role
As Big C's Nutritionist, you will join a small but busy team. In this interesting role, you will work in partnership to develop and deliver nutritionist activities under Big C's Health Academy vision and strategy, including the facilitation of Big C's Nourish and Nurture programme.
As a successful candidate, you will have a BSc (Hons) in nutrition or an MSc in nutritional science and be registered as an Associate Nutritionist with the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN). You will have significant experience in community wellbeing and engagement projects or health education programmes to support people affected by cancer or other long-term health conditions.
You will be based at Big C's Norwich Support and Information centres including the Centre on Norfolk and Norwich University grounds and Dereham Road (to be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate). The team is currently hybrid working with a blend of home and office. Work from other Big C premises or public events will be required from time to time.
The working hours are 10.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly as agreed. This will generally be between Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and evening events with notice.
The salary is £9,396.78 to £11,579.62 per annum, pro rata, subject to skills and experience. (£31,322.62 to £38,598.74 full time equivalent).
