About the Role
The Service Progression and Sustainability Team supports Social Care and Targeted Early Help Services in the sustainability of new ways of working. Therefore, the person we are looking for will be comfortable supporting Heads of Service, Service Managers, and Team Managers daily.
You will work with colleagues from Business Intelligence to ensure consistent and accurate data and information is maintained and accessible.
Your work with IT colleagues will help ensure that systems are working effectively for Social Care and Early Help colleagues. You will be involved in discussions analysing system requirements, organising the implementation of system enhancements, and testing new developments to ensure they meet the needs of Social Care and Targeted Early Help.
The focus of this role is on continuous service improvement. You will align systems and processes, to reduce duplication, ensuring data is high quality and clean.
You will support teams with the collation of data for Improvement Cycle Meetings. You will also attend these meetings and support colleagues as they make data-informed decisions.
A thirst for continuing professional and personal development is crucial to this role to ensure that skills and knowledge are maintained and updated as you inspire, generate enthusiasm, and share good practice. This will support your ability to help develop and present training materials.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
1. Have recognised Academic Qualifications. 'GCSE', 'A' Levels, Vocational Quals, Professional/Further Education Quals in a relevant area, or substantial demonstrable experience as identified in the following points.
2. Be able to prepare reports confidently and accurately for managers analysing and interpreting quantitative or qualitative data and present findings to a wide range of audiences.
3. Have a good understanding of performance management, continuous improvement, quality assurance and service improvement tools.
4. Form and maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues at all levels and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
5. Be able to use information technology applications to a high standard Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and be able to quickly learn how to use Tableau, Power BI, and Mosaic.
6. Be able to prioritise effectively a wide range of competing demands to meet deadlines whilst still ensuring accuracy of work, respond flexibly to changing requirements, and work under minimal supervision.
