Workshop Fabricator / welder Due to expansion and growth apermanent hasarisen forWelder/ Fabricator.. Please note that the main base for this role will be Coatbridge The Role : Fabrication and Welding of Handrails, staircases, balustrades & structural steel in the workshop Working hours : Dayshift 07:00 to 4:30 Monday to friday Overtime (Nightshift on offer at enhanced rates) Rate of Pay: £20 per hour time & a half overtime Primary Objectives Welding and fabrication in a workshop setting - Possible site work in future. Working knowledge of structural / secondry steelwork welding & fabrication Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Time served welder/fabricator. Must be conscientious in approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality.Working knowledge of structural fabrication works and standards. Act with honesty, integrity and accountability Ability to work well in a team Qualifications and Experience Requirements An NC/HNC in welding/fabrication preferred but not essential at least 4 years experience in the above role. Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role and may include: Manual Metal Arc (MMA) Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Metal Active/Metal Inert Gas (MAG/MIG) Gas shielded Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) Oxy-Acetylene cutting/welding Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
