As a Despatch Operator, you will facilitate the efficient operations of the Despatch Department. Your responsibilities include ensuring that all products are shipped in accurate quantities, at appropriate temperatures, and to the correct customers on the agreed-upon dates. This opportunity is offered on a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract basis. Main responsibilities To ensure all UK and Export orders are prepared efficiently and accurately (SAP) Preparing documentation and labels to facilitate the accurate despatch of products, ensuring all information is accurate (Word / Excel) Arranging and booking relevant transportation including flight bookings for domestic and export commercial shipments. Liaising with other Ipsen sites for order processing and distribution requirements for incoming and outgoing shipments. Packing of finished product, clinical trials and sample shipments, using a range of standard and insulated packaging components, adhering to the relevant regulations. Arranging miscellaneous and sample shipments with applicable couriers, adhering to customer requirements and Dangerous Goods requirements where appropriate. Daily checking and replenishment of all packing materials using ERP system to record stock movements (SAP) Use of Material handling equipment to store and retrieve items in the Despatch area and load and unload product and components (manual handling expected) Perform serialization/aggregation tasks as required for applicable shipments. Perform daily/weekly stock counts, stock reconciliation and assisting in year-end stock counts. Completion of all relevant paperwork related to specified duties. Handling of Customer returns and Product recalls. Additional responsibilities Perform assigned tasks whilst, at all times, adhering to current GMP requirements (e.g. Annex 1 of EU GMP) for sterile medicinal products. Report any compliance concerns to your line manager or the Quality Assurance Compliance team. Always Work in a safe manner and raise any Health and Safety concerns to your line manager or the EHS team. Ensure all training is kept up to date and documented by adhering to training plan requirements, ensuring that you do not perform any tasks you are not trained to complete.
