We are looking for a Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at White Cross Vets, Sheffield.
About the Rota
The role is part-time, over 30 hours per week with a share of the Saturday Rota also. Time back in Lieu is available and there is no OOH required for this role.
About the Team
Our team currently consists of 3.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 3.5 RVNs, and a Veterinary Care Assistant. We have a surgical certificate holder in our Clinic Director, Rebecca, and can support a variety of interests as it is a dual-sited clinic. Doncaster has a dental certificate holder also and a medical certificate holder - so between the two, there are lots of interesting cases! Sheffield is a very 'nurse-led' clinic, with various opportunities to develop.
About the Practice
As for equipment, we have a Dental Z-Ray and Imagist Machine (in-house Cytology). We're located just 15 minutes away from Sheffield Train Station with excellent transport links to the centre from Handsworth. Our lovely clinic is just five minutes off the parkway and M1, so easily accessible by public transport. Our purpose-built practice has a staff area and garden to the rear, as well as onsite parking.
Team Wellbeing
At White Cross Vets, we see the paramount importance of team wellbeing and therefore conduct monthly team wellbeing sessions. They're always lots of fun and the most recent ones have included arts and crafts afternoon and a games afternoon.
