Future Safety has been a leader in the industry for over 30 years, with over forty years of combined personnel experience. The company was formed in 1992 to design and manufacture specialist PPE for a variety of industries. The company now specializes in manufacturing high-performance helmets for Emergency services, Military, Marine, and Sports while still serving its original markets of industrial, mining, and forestry.

A normal day would include:
Stock:
* Regular checking of component stock levels and re-ordering on completing the purchase orders requisition form as required
* Updating stock tally sheets as items are picked
* Completing picking lists with the correct goods inward reference numbers (GI)
* Using stock adjustment in/out sheet to record anomalies for over/short deliveries and samples
* Recording any production errors on the tally sheet and stock out sheets accordingly
* Correctly recording sub-assembly component products on sub-assembly sheets
Production of products:
* Checking that the correct components have been picked
* Ensuring Batch ID number is filled in correctly on the picking list
* Conducting quality control checks on all components prior to assembly
* Assembling components and sub-assemblies into finished products by positioning or aligning components and parts manually
* Using hand tools or machines to assemble parts
* Conducting quality checks at each stage of production to ensure standards are met
* Cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment, including tools
* Verifying specifications by measuring and quality checking completed components
* Resolving assembly problems by alerting non-conformance/component issues and obtaining additional resources
Despatch:
* Ensuring that all goods ready for despatch are quality checked and match the original Picking List in line with ISO 9001
* Packing and weighing outgoing orders, updating the Picking List with dimensions, and returning paperwork to the office
* Ensuring all orders are placed in the goods outward area with the customer's name and contents clearly labelled
General:
* Ensuring that the warehouse/production areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and rubbish is removed each day
* This includes ensuring that all work benches are clean and tidy and that the floor is swept and rubbish-free at the end of each working day
