Exciting opportunities have become available within the Business and Customer Support Team. This team plays a vital role in ensuring the council delivers high-quality services to our customers in line with current legislation and policy.

Angus Council have a variety of workstyle arrangements.
\n
2a – Fixed (Desk ratio 1:1) - In this workstyle, you will have a guaranteed fixed desk, for example, for equality act (formerly DDA), H&S or technical reasons.
\n
2b – Fixed (Desk Ratio 8:10) - In this workstyle work is regularly undertaken at a fixed point within council premises. There is no requirement for out of office working. You will have a guaranteed shared desk and you will work where the service is needed to meet customer demands.
\n
3 – Flexi (Desk Ratio 5:10) - In this workstyle work is carried out at different locations, and employees are office desk based for more than 50% of their working time. Additional time may be spent when required in a council building to use collaborative spaces or for meetings, training and mentoring purposes.
\n
5 – Homeworking and Other Locations – Flexible (Desk Ratio 2:10) - In this workstyle most work activity (80%) can be carried out at home or from another location. Approximately 20% of time could be spent at an office desk. Additional time may be spent, when required, in a council building using bookable spaces for collaborative working, meetings, training and mentoring purposes.

21.25 hours per week (workstyle 2b) (reception)

36.25 hours per week (workstyle 3 and workstyle 5)

Bellevue House, Springfield Terrace, Arbroath (2 positions):

29 hours per week (workstyle 3)

36.25 hours per week (workstyle 3)

County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar (2 positions):

36.25 hours per week (workstyle 3)
\n
18.5 hours per week (workstyle 2a)

Montrose Town House, Montrose (1 position):

36.25 hours per week (workstyle 3)
\n
Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar (2 positions):

36.25 hours per week (workstyle 5)

Successful applicants will provide valuable support across a variety of council services, including our Children, Families, and Justice social work, Welfare Rights and Supporting Skills teams. This support helps these teams focus on delivering essential services to the people and communities of Angus.
