Your role and responsibilities You will Provide administrative support to the SEND Business Systems Team who sit within the Strategy and Operations Team. Learn new skills and knowledge and undertake a variety of different tasks. Provide support to Senior Managers and other teams within the Inclusion Service upon request. Work alongside another Business Support Officer for peer-to-peer support as well as having access to a line manager. Process Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Freedom of Information (FOIs) requests to ensure a high standard is maintained and deadlines are met. Take bookings for one accessible lodge for Children and Young People and their families. Provide support for senior managers with organising meetings, booking rooms/ equipment, inviting attendees, supporting recruitment processes. Collate and circulate meeting papers, handouts and taking minutes at meetings. Be responsible for monitoring group email boxes. Maintain office records and electronic filing systems. Raise purchase orders for supplies and services and arrange the payment of invoices to meet deadlines. You will need An NVQ level 2 in an appropriate subject i.e. Business Administration or Customer Services or equivalent knowledge and experience. An excellent standard of literacy and numeracy. Good communication and proven IT skills. Ability to work as part of a team and work on your own initiative. To be able to multi-task to meet deadlines. To organise your own workload and work efficiently under pressure. To possess a positive attitude to liaise with a variety of colleagues across the service and wider SCC.
