Description Permanent Contract | £27,711 to £30,060 per annum (Scale F) | 37 hours per week | Norwich An opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Officer within our busy Pensioner Payroll Team. The Team is part of the Norfolk Pension Fund which provides services to over 420 employers and 90,000 active, deferred, and retired members. The role includes running intermediate pay runs, and the calculation and payment of complex death benefits including spouse’s, partner’s, and children’s benefits. The role will also include working out balances and overpayments of benefits for deceased members and day to day processes within the Pensioner Payroll team looking after 27,000 pensioner/spouse/children’s pension payments. To be considered for the role, you’ll need good problem-solving, numeracy and literacy skills (including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent), and you’ll have experience in a customer-facing administrative role. You’ll also need strong communication skills (written and face to face), good IT skills (including Word and Excel), and a positive approach to customer service.
