Are you a registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with extensive mental health experience, looking for a new opportunity? The 111 Press 2 Mental Health Triage service provides access to mental health support 24/7 for individuals in distress.
Main duties of the job
You will work within the existing CAV 24/7, providing support and leading the Band 5 Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners in triaging mental health needs. You will independently assess and provide high-quality advice and care, ensuring excellent delivery of care through agreed clinical standards.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Registered with a recognised professional regulatory body
* Educated to Degree level plus post grad/registration experience
Knowledge
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development within a mental health setting
* Specialist knowledge of mental health crisis assessments
* Demonstrable clinical knowledge and experience of mental health
Experience
* Significant post-registration experience in a mental health setting
* Experience of prioritising tasks within a busy environment
* Experience of providing clinical supervision to junior staff
