£120.00 - £180 per day
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students
* Assess and monitor student progress
* Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff members
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Year 5
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Effective classroom management skills
* Proficient in using educational technology
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
* Experience working with Year 5 students
* Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
The role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and term dates. The teacher may be required to participate in extracurricular activities and parent meetings.
