For over 30 years, we have been dedicated to preventing youth homelessness and supporting young people in building better futures.
The primary function of this role is the effective management and delivery of the organisation’s Edinburgh, East & South service delivery and development activities. Leading our service teams to ensure that we provide quality services and are reaching our funder and organisational targets. This key management role will support the Head of Services to implement strategy, ensuring that regulatory standards are met, and policies and procedures are implemented. Part of a highly collaborative team, the Service Manager reports directly to the Head of Services and works alongside the rest of the management team.

Working as part of our innovative Housing First for Youth Team, the Project Worker will work directly with young people to coordinate and provide emotional and practical support. Providing an assertive outreach approach, the Project Worker will work with young people to secure and manage their own permanent home, providing support in their home and in their local community to ensure that a young person’s experience of homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
The Project Worker will support young people to improve their practical independent living skills, access other services, and reach their full potential. Project Workers are responsible for completing support plans and risk assessments and are the main contact for any key people involved in the care and support of young people.
Rock Trust are delighted to offer a new position of Youth Housing Hub Coordinator in Glasgow, thanks to funding from the National Lottery Fund.
The service will provide support and advice to young people to prevent homelessness. Where homelessness cannot be avoided, services will ensure it is rare, brief, and non-recurring by assisting young people to establish appropriate professional and other supportive networks, to support a successful transition to permanent, independent accommodation.

About the Post
Our Employability Programme supports people to gain the required skills and experience to move towards employment, further education, training, or volunteering. You will work as part of the wider FareShare Depot team to support individuals to engage in our employability programme and reach their full potential. Your main duties will involve:
* Delivering employability workshops to a wide range of clients
* Engaging with organisations to promote our Employability programme and secure job opportunities for clients
* Continually monitoring and evaluating the employability programme
About You
You will be a values-led, experienced employability worker who engages well with people and demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment. You should also be:
* Experienced in delivering training or employability programmes
* Great at building relationships with partner organisations
* Excellent at planning and managing your own workload
How We’ll Support You
We’ll empower you to work independently, with a supportive manager, and our experienced depot operations team. We will encourage you to use your initiative to deliver the programme, innovate new activities, and learn on the job. You will have access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme and staff wellbeing services.

About the Service
Our Wellbeing Works service is a new offering that aims to provide support for people with mild to moderate mental health conditions to empower them to develop a pathway to employment.
About the Role
This role will be pivotal in creating trusted relationships with both clients and partner organisations to ensure that each pathway to employment is unique to individual clients and designed to reach the best possible outcome. Your main duties will include:
* Meeting clients to identify a support action plan; and regular follow-up sessions to review their progress
* Facilitating workshops and intervention sessions that provide participants with skills and mechanisms to better manage their mental health and improve wellbeing
* Working alongside various partner organisations to access additional support and opportunities
* Monitoring and evaluating the uptake and impact of the service
It is a role that provides the opportunity to work with people who have complex problems and to make a real difference to their lives.
About You
You will have experience supporting people with mental health conditions and be motivated to empower people on their employability journey. You should also have:
* Excellent relationship building skills
* Proven experience of building and maintaining strong partnerships with relevant services
* A commitment to reducing the stigma faced by people with mental health conditions

You will have a supportive manager who will provide the space for regular supervision sessions and development conversations to ensure that your wellbeing is protected, and you are set up for success. You’ll also have access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme, and staff wellbeing services.
