Theyare now actively looking to recruit a Service Advisor for their CarDealership inNewry.
JobPurpose:
TheService Advisor is the focal point for customer contact they willorganise customer service/repair requirements and will strive for100% customer satisfaction the first time and every time. TheService Advisor will assist the Service Manager in ensuring theefficient and profitable operation of thedepartment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Buildsrapport and qualifies the customer srequirements
* Talksand listens to the customers to build rapport and understand theirservice/repair requirements both their stated and unconsciousneeds.
* Usesa good understanding of the customer s needs to guide them towardthe product/service that will best meet theirneeds.
Agreesthe details of the work that is to be carriedout
* Providesaccurate estimates for servicing and repairs ensuring that thecustomer is fully aware of the likely costs and timescales involvedand setting expectationsaccordingly.
* Scheduleswork to meet the customer requirements taking into account workshop/ bodyshop utilisation targets job complexity and partsavailability.
* Encouragesthe sales of genuine parts and accessories whenever possible actingon opportunities to sell additional products/services and marketcurrentpromotions.
* Agreesvehicle delivery/collection or loan car arrangements. Hands overloan car keys once all checks are complete and ensures that thecustomer is happy with thevehicle.
Coordinatesworkshop activity to deliver agreedwork
* Liaiseswith After Sales to order parts. Notifies customers on arrival toallow work to be scheduled and minimise part stock holding(WIP).
* Producesjob cards detailing any special requirements and distributes themto the workshop / bodyshop briefing technicians whereappropriate.
* Coordinatesvaleting of customers vehicles and any other work to besublet.
* Organisesthe collection and delivery of cars/vans for service orrepairs.
* Updatecustomer database to maintain accurate records of work carried outand aid futureprospecting.
* Assessesand records warranty claims as per manufacturer srequirements.
* Updatesthe customer on progress and checks customer satisfaction oncompletion
* Contactscustomer to update them on workshop/body shop progress agree on anyadditional spending and manage customer expectations in relation tocosts andtimings.
* Invoicescustomer on completion of work in line with the estimate. Reviewsinvoices with the customer providing a detailed explanation wherenecessary.
* Checksloan cars on return and hands over the customerscars.
* Ensuresthat each service or repair is followed up with a personal call tocheck the customer is happy with the serviceprovided.
Worksas a full member of the dealershipteam
* Workswith colleagues and other teams across the dealership/group toprovide a seamless service tocustomers.
* Ensureopportunities for sales by the other teams are followed up by themost appropriatespecialist.
General
* Cooperatefully with the implementation of the company s Health &Safety arrangements for example reporting accidents/incidents andequipment defects to management and maintaining a clean unclutteredand safe environment for customers members of the public andstaff.
* Towork in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negativeenvironmental impact in relation to the processes and proceduresoperating within the job holder s area and across the widerbusiness e.g. reduction of waste recyclingetc.
* Thejob holder may be required to serve at other company locations tomeet the needs of thebusiness.
