- Nights Location: Leicestershire Working Pattern: 45 hours per week (including breaks).
Transition to 4-on-4-off after probation.
Salary: £30,772 per annum Position Overview: Supports the Quality Manager in ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities include auditing, training, documentation management, and maintaining food safety and product quality.
Key Responsibilities: Documentation: Maintain and review production records for accuracy and compliance.
Compliance Checks: Conduct routine equipment audits and address non-compliances.
Hygiene Standards: Perform GMP and facility audits; lead corrective actions for issues.
Sampling & Testing: Execute swabbing schedules, analyse results, and implement solutions.
Training: Deliver CCP and Weights and Measures Act training, ensuring understanding.
Oversight: Verify compliance of products and processes; conduct quality assessments.
Record Keeping: Manage documentation for audits, non-conformances, and calibrations.
Audit Support: Lead environmental swabbing and hygiene validations.
Product Development: Ensure new products meet HACCP and quality standards.
Allergen Control: Enforce allergen protocols and provide staff training.
Traceability: Assist in traceability exercises and maintain document accessibility.
Skills and Experience: Internal auditing and manufacturing experience.
Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
Intermediate Excel proficiency and familiarity with reporting systems.
Leadership by example and a commitment to quality improvement.
