As they continue to grow and innovate, they are looking for an experienced Head of HR to join their senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy, driving cultural transformation, and ensuring the business remains compliant within a highly regulated environment.
The Role
As Head of HR, you will be responsible for the full range of HR activities, from strategic leadership to operational execution. You will work closely with the senior management team to align HR practices with the overall business objectives, ensuring that the company attracts, retains, and develops the talent needed to meet its ambitious goals. You will also play a crucial role in fostering a culture of engagement, performance, and continuous improvement, while ensuring full compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.
This is a hands-on, strategic role that requires an individual with a deep understanding of HR best practices in a manufacturing environment, as well as the ability to lead through change and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the HR function, providing strategic HR support to senior leaders and operational teams.
* Develop and implement people strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals and values.
* Oversee recruitment, talent management, and employee development programmes to ensure the business has the skills and leadership needed to succeed.
* Ensure HR practices comply with all relevant employment laws, health and safety regulations, and industry standards (such as ISO, FDA, etc.).
* Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and fostering a positive work environment.
* Lead compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring the business remains competitive and offers an attractive package to its workforce.
* Drive organisational development and change management initiatives to optimise business performance.
* Monitor HR metrics and use data to continuously improve HR processes and outcomes.
Key Requirements
* Significant experience in a senior HR role, within a manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of HR strategy, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and talent management.
* Proven experience in managing recruitment processes, organisational development, and performance management.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
* A proactive, solution-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* A relevant HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) is highly desirable.
