Role Responsibilities
* Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Providing tax planning advice, including self-assessment tax returns and dividend/remuneration planning for directors
* Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on accounts, taxation, and financial processes
* Managing and developing strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and support
* Reviewing VAT returns prepared by the bookkeeping team
* Providing mentoring and leadership to junior staff, supporting their growth and development
* Handling ad-hoc accounting and advisory work, responding to client needs and business opportunities

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified (essential)
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a client management role within an accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting
* Experience in financial systems, budgeting, data analysis, and auditing
* Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify client challenges and provide tailored solutions
* Excellent communication and client management skills
* Leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and developing a team
* Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
