Senior Technical Delivery/Implementations Manager (SWIFT)
Edinburgh, 2 days per week on-site required.
£700.00 - £720.00 (umbrella)
12-month contract with a strong possibility of extension
You will join the Cash Management and Payments team, which plays a crucial role in providing a comprehensive suite of services to BCB, Corporate Institutional Banking (CIB) clients, and internal group subsidiaries. Our world-leading financial services client is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Technical Delivery/Implementations Manager to guide and support their clients in integrating with their platform via API/Host to Host (H2H) and SWIFT channels. You will have the chance to take the lead in migrating from their SWIFT MT service to a SWIFT File ACT channel for some of their largest clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the migration of key clients from SWIFT MT services to SWIFT File ACT channels.
2. Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Transaction Banking Solutions, and Market Trade & Delivery, to ensure successful client outcomes.
3. Manage multiple client implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and project milestones are met.
4. Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing technical guidance and ensuring products are delivered according to client requirements and timelines.
5. Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, gradually building a strong rapport with clients' engineering teams.
6. Offer project management expertise, helping clients set up and optimise their channel services.
Skills and Experience required:
1. Previous experience in implementing SWIFT MT services within a financial institution.
2. Self-starter with evidence of taking ownership and delivering results.
3. Broad knowledge of commercial banking products and services.
4. Understanding of commercial clients' transactional business.
5. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
6. Knowledge of SWIFT MT, XML ISO 20022 PAIN 001, BACS, SWIFT, Payments, and Host to Host (H2H) protocols.
