Ndustrial Cleaning Supervisor Night Shift
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Industrial Cleaning Supervisor Night Shift to work with our client, who is a Waste Management specialist, based in the Tipton, DY4 area.
Pay Rate £13.00ph - £14.00ph, depending on experience
Shift pattern Monday to Friday 17:30 - 04:30
Responsibilities
As a Industrial Cleaning Supervisor you will be responsible for the ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy and free from hazards, and that materials are stored safely at all times in a safe and productive manner. The night shift cleaning team is responsible for cleaning the metal sorting line and grinding machines, ensuring everything is ready for the day shift to continue their work. The supervisor will actively participate in cleaning tasks, not just supervise.
Comfortable using a high-pressure washer (training on jet washing will be provided)
Use various cleaning detergents
Experience in industrial cleaning or in the metal recycling industry is highly advantageous
Willing to work in the yard (not all machines to be cleaned are indoors)
Comfortable working at heights (some machines are located above ground)
Requirements
FLT reach/CB truck driving license is mandatory
Experience in leading a team (5-6 people minimum)
Physically fit to be involved in the cleaning work
Health and Safety
Enforce safety procedures and regulations within the team.
Conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards promptly.
Promote a strong safety culture and encourage safe work practices.
Investigate accidents and incidents, implementing preventative measures.
